.. The Air Jordan Retro 4 feels more substantial than a 3, less bulky than a 5. That mid-foot cage gives great support for casual wear. My favorite detail? The heel tab with the Jumpman. It's the little things! Just a timeless design, even at this price point. It's a must-have for any serious sneaker rotation, in my honest opinion. On foot, the shape of the Air Jordan Retro 4 is just... "chef's kiss". It fills out jeans or joggers perfectly. The one "downside" I noticed? The plastic wing eyelets can sometimes press if you have a wider foot. Lace them up carefully! Overall, though, it's a shoe that looks as good on you as it does in the box. Comparing this to, say, an Air Jordan 1? Totally different vibe. The AJ4 has more of a bulky, athletic stance - more "basketball shoe" in its DNA. Some people prefer that lower-profile AJ1 look. For me? I love the commanding presence of the Retro 4. It's a statement piece in any sneaker rotation, no doubt. Alright, so first look out of the box? The quality on this "Air Jordan Retro 4" is solid. This 'Military Blue' colorway is a straight-up classic, and seeing it in-hand is just different. The materials feel good - not super premium, but definitely better than some recent releases. That iconic silhouette, with the plastic wing eyelets and mesh panels, looks amazing. For $210, it's a pricey piece of history, but the presentation is on point right away.
