It's also surprisingly durable for casual wear; scuffs on black leather are way less noticeable. For a $180 shoe, it offers incredible value as a style cornerstone. It's a workhorse in sneaker form, no doubt about it. On feet now. The fit is true to size for me, with that familiar Air Jordan 1 feel: a bit stiff at first, but you get a secure, locked-in feel. Don't expect cloud-like comfort - it's more about structure and support. The weight is standard, nothing too heavy. Walking around, you definitely feel the legacy on your feet. If you're new to the Jordan series, the Black Air Jordan 1 offers that authentic, classic basketball shoe experience, for better or worse. Comparing it to other Jordans? It’s the polar opposite of a loud, color-blocked OG. Next to my Chicago 1s, this Black Air Jordan 1 is the low-key sibling. Versatility is the biggest win here. The downside? Some might find it "too" plain. If you love the classic color pops of the series, this all-black version might feel like it's missing the point.
