The black air jordan 1 is stylish, but it's not the most forgiving on your feet. That's my real, honest opinion. It’s a lifestyle shoe with a vintage basketball feel. After wearing them all day, my feet are… okay. Not great, not terrible. You feel the ground, but the support is there. The "pro" is the timeless style you get with this "Air Jordan 1". The "con" is the dated cushioning. It's a trade-off I'm willing to make for "this" look. Would I recommend it? Absolutely, but go in with the right expectations. Don't expect Boost or ZoomX. Expect iconic style and solid construction. From a pure style perspective, this shoe is a 10/10. The matte black finish on the leather (depending on the release) looks premium. It’s a shoe that makes your whole fit look considered. In the entire Jordan series, this is one of the most wearable colorways ever, period. Putting them on... okay, the fit is TTS for me. The break-in period is real - the ankle collar is stiff & the forefoot isn't exactly plush. But the "lockdown" is fantastic. If you've had other AJ1s, you know the deal: it's a firm, supportive feel, not a soft, cushiony one. The weight is average, nothing too heavy. They feel secure, just not "cloud-like."
