The price, at $2200 USD, is a huge barrier—no way around it. Also, because it's so nice, you might be terrified to wear it! 'Crease anxiety' is real here. Lastly, the fit can be narrow for some. If you have wider feet, this might not be the most comfortable "Jordan series" release for you. It's not a perfect shoe for "everyone". Conversely, who should "avoid" the Dior Air Jordan 1? Anyone on a tight budget, or someone looking for a versatile, comfy sneaker. For the same price, you could get 10+ other amazing Jordans! If you actually want to "wear" your kicks hard, this isn't it. The fear of damage is just too real with this one. Seeing these in-hand vs. online pics is different. The materials have a rich texture that cameras don't fully capture. Wearing them, you get looks... obviously. Compared to an Off-White AJ1, it's less deconstructed and more refined. Pro: Ultimate flex. Con: The constant fear of getting them dirty! Not a shoe for a careless person, that's for sure. In the end, it lives up to the hype in terms of construction / and design prestige. The "dior air jordan 1" is a masterpiece of a collaboration. But hype and price aside, you have to be honest about your own style and wallet. For me, owning and wearing it was an incredible experience, but I completely understand why someone would call it overpriced. It's a polarizing piece, / and that's okay.
