The Dior Air Jordan 1 is a landmark release. The construction is, without exaggeration, the best I've seen on a Jordan 1. On foot, they're stiff—like any new AJ1—but you feel the quality. The aesthetic is clean and powerful. The major pro is the legacy it represents. The major con is the insane cost ($2,000 USD, remember?). It's perfect for the investor or the ultra-enthusiast who must have pinnacle pieces. If you're a casual fan or value comfort over clout, there are better (and let's be honest, more sensible) options in the vast Jordan series. Comparing it to my other Jordans... it's a different league. A regular Air Jordan 1 feels almost "basic" now (no offense!). The Dior version has a sharper shape & denser materials. It's less of a sportswear shoe and more of a... well, a luxury item. For true collectors of the Jordan series, this is the pinnacle. Now, a real con — besides the obvious price. It might be "too" nice. I’m hesitant to wear it hard. Also, the fit is a bit more structured & snug than a typical AJ1. If you have wider feet, this could be a problem. It’s not the most "comfort-first" shoe in the collection. Putting these on for the first time? The fit is surprisingly snug! The Italian leather interior is smooth & has a premium feel, but the cushioning is "firm" – don't expect Boost or React here. It's classic Air Jordan 1 comfort, just executed with far better materials. The $2,000 price tag doesn't buy you a revolutionary "feel", but the craftsmanship on this dior x Jordan collaboration is absolutely top-tier.
