I like that Jordan Brand takes these risks. The shoe is well-made, comfortable enough, and utterly unique. But its biggest strength—that insane colorway—is also its biggest limitation. It's a shelf piece that you can wear sometimes. Not a daily driver. So, buy with that in mind, folks. My final take? I like them for what they are. The Fortnite Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Abundance' is a successful, fun collaboration. They're well-made, comfortable in the typical 4 way, and undeniably unique. Would I wear them every day? No. But as a collector's item or a weekend flex? Absolutely. They put a smile on my face. Who should avoid them? If you need an everyday, go-to Jordan 4, look at a 'Military Blue' or a 'Fire Red'. The 'Abundance' is not that shoe. Also, if you're on a budget and want the best materials for your money, there are better options. This is a novelty-first kind of release. Alright, so first look at the Fortnite Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Abundance'... the box is wild, right? It's got that pixelated graphic. The shoe itself? The materials feel pretty decent for a $225 pair. The suede/nubuck combo has a nice texture, and the color-blocking with that minty green is way more interesting in-hand than in pics. A solid first impression from the Jordan series, for sure.
