On foot, they feel standard, but all eyes are on the color. They photograph "amazingly". Not an everyday shoe, but a fun addition. If you like safe, traditional colorways, avoid these. But if you want a jordan air 1 that's truly unique and artful? This might be your grail. It's a bold statement. Comparing it to, say, a Jordan 3 or 4? The jordan 1 is definitely less cushioned. It's about the silhouette and the attitude. The leather quality on this specific release is good — not the "best" ever, but good. For $180, you're buying the legend. It's a foundational piece for any collection, no doubt. After wearing these Jordan 1s for a bit, the leather does break in nicely. The fit is true to size, good width. The grip is decent on dry surfaces. Is it worth the price? For this colorway and quality, yes – if you love the design. But at retail or slightly above; I wouldn't pay a massive resell premium for the basic tech inside.
