Just delivered: the Jordan Air 1 Zoom CMFT 2 in 'Light Orewood Brown'. Okay, "this" is different! Unboxing, you can feel the padded collar—immediately more premium. On foot? WHOA. The Zoom Air unit makes a "huge" difference versus a standard Air 1. It's actually "comfortable"! The silhouette is slightly tweaked but still classic. Pro: fantastic comfort upgrade. Con: purists might not like the altered shape. If you love the AJ1 look but need better cushion, this $150 model is for you. Skip if you're a total OG silhouette snob. Finally, looking at this "Jordan 1" "Dark Mocha" – such a clean, wearable colorway. The "suede" hits and leather quality are "impressive" right out of the box. On feet, they look "expensive" and go with "almost" any fit. Compared to a Travis Scott collab, this is a "much" more understated, mature take. The "pro" is its incredible versatility for a high-top. The "con" is that it's another brown/black shoe in a sea of them. At "retail ($170)", it's an easy recommend for anyone wanting a premium, daily wearer. It's not the most "exciting" release, but sometimes that's exactly what you need. On feet, this colorway "pops". The white, black, and Chicago Red just work with everything — jeans, shorts, you name it. The design is so clean and versatile. Compared to some bulkier modern Jordans, the air 1 profile is sleek. It's a shoe that looks better with wear, too. That's a huge plus for me.
