Cons: Firm ride, not for wide feet (usually). If you want history on your feet, "cop it". If you need cushion above all, look elsewhere. Big pro? Style – 100%. These are a wardrobe staple. Another plus is durability; that solid rubber outsole and simple construction mean they'll last. The Jordan Air 1 is a tank for daily wear. As a foundational sneaker in any collection, it’s hard to beat. They just go with everything, simple as that. Here's a "Jordan 1" you don't see every day: the "Zoom Air CMFT" version. The "first" thing you feel is the "insole" – it's "way" more cushioned than a standard AJ1! The upper uses more stretchy materials too. It's a "modern twist" on the classic. The "huge benefit" is, of course, the comfort – you can actually walk in these all day. The "compromise"? It "doesn't" have the exact same stiff, structured look of the OG. If you've always loved the "Air Jordan 1" style but hated the feel, "this" is your shoe. Traditionalists might find it "too" different. Bottom line from my personal wear test: I'm keeping these in heavy rotation. They're easy, they're classic, and they make any simple outfit look considered. The Jordan Air 1 isn't trying to be something it's not. For $180 USD in the Jordan series, you know exactly what you're getting – and sometimes, that's exactly what you need.
