Not for those wanting the high-top basketball heritage feel. Just copped this newer Jordan Air 1 'Mid' version in 'Wolf Grey'. At a lower price point (~$115), expectations are different. The materials are more synthetic, but the shape is still there! On foot, they feel... fine. It's a budget-friendly way to get the iconic look. If you're a purist about materials & OG highs, skip it. But for a beater pair? Not bad at all. My final take? For the price— around $120-$130— the value is there if you love the look. You're buying a piece of history and a forever-stylish silhouette. Don't buy it for the "tech." Buy it because it makes your outfit look fire and connects you to sneaker culture's roots. As a style piece, it's absolutely worth it in my collection.
