As a foundational sneaker in any collection, the value is there. Would I recommend it? For the right person, 100%. Just got the 'Dark Mocha' Jordan Air 1 High. First glance? Beautiful brown tones, super rich. The materials feel premium. Once laced up, the fit is perfect TTS for me. The look is sophisticated and goes with anything. Compared to a Travis Scott collab, this is a much more accessible, clean colorway. Benefit: Mature color palette that's still hype. Drawback: Still has that classic stiff sole. For the $170 USD, it's a great alternative to the standard colors. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile, high-quality Air 1. Maybe not for the flashy color lover. So I'm checking out this "Bloodline" Jordan Air 1, and the red hits on the outsole are a nice touch. Materials feel pretty standard for the line – nothing mind-blowing, but it's fine. Putting them on, the cushioning is firm, as expected from an '85-inspired design. They look incredible on foot, though – that classic shape is just unbeatable. The pro is definitely the look. The con is the comfort, or lack of "modern" comfort. If you want a shoe that's all about style and history, the Jordan Air 1 is your guy. If you need cloud-like feel, this isn't the one.
