I'd suggest trying a half-size up. The "upside"? Once broken in, the leather molds to your foot nicely. The design is timeless — it's why we're still talking about it decades later. Just know your foot shape before dropping $180+ on these. Sliding these on for the first time... okay, let's be real. The Jordan Air 1 is NOT a comfort shoe. If you're coming from React foam or anything modern, you'll find the footbed pretty firm – almost stiff. The ankle collar, though? It provides great support and that classic, snug wrap. It's more about style & statement than all-day cloud-like comfort, for sure. Comparing it to other Jordans? Big difference. My Jordan 3s or 4s are way more comfortable. The "jordan air 1" is the foundation, the blueprint. It's lighter than a lot of newer models, which is nice for all-day wear. But if you want that plush, sunk-in feel? Look at later models.
