The cushioning is firm. If you're used to React foam or Air Max bubbles, you'll find these pretty stiff, especially for long days on concrete. That's the trade-off for the look. The plus side? That firmness provides great stability, & the leather upper will mold to your foot over time for a better fit. Comparing them to my other Jordans... yeah, the Air 1 is stiffer than, say, a Jordan 13 (obviously). But compared to some other AJ1 releases, the leather here is actually pretty nice – no cardboard vibes! It’s a solid entry in the Jordan series. For $180, you're paying for the legacy and the look, not groundbreaking tech. Who is this for? Honestly, for sneaker newcomers or collectors alike. It’s a must-have piece of history. Who is it "not" for? Performance athletes or comfort-first folks. It’s a lifestyle shoe, period. My final verdict?
