It goes with everything. The con? That same classic build means it's not the most comfortable for all-day wear – the footbed is pretty flat. If you need arch support or plush cushioning, this isn't your shoe. It's for the look, not long-distance comfort. After wearing these Jordan 1s for a bit, the leather does break in nicely. The fit is true to size, good width. The grip is decent on dry surfaces. Is it worth the price? For this colorway and quality, yes – if you love the design. But at retail or slightly above; I wouldn't pay a massive resell premium for the basic tech inside. So I'm checking out this "Bloodline" Jordan Air 1, and the red hits on the outsole are a nice touch. Materials feel pretty standard for the line – nothing mind-blowing, but it's fine. Putting them on, the cushioning is firm, as expected from an '85-inspired design. They look incredible on foot, though – that classic shape is just unbeatable. The pro is definitely the look. The con is the comfort, or lack of "modern" comfort. If you want a shoe that's all about style and history, the Jordan Air 1 is your guy. If you need cloud-like feel, this isn't the one. So I got the 'Shadow' Jordan Air 1 2.0 in hand. Opening the box, that buttery grey nubuck is "insane". The craftsmanship here is top-tier. Putting them on... wow, they feel premium. The padded collar is nice! Compared to the standard leather versions, these are noticeably softer. The $200 price tag is steep, but you see where the money went. Benefit? Amazing materials and a luxurious feel. Downside? That price, obviously, and they'll get dirty easily. In my honest opinion, these are for the serious sneakerhead who appreciates details. Not a daily beater shoe.
