There's minimal impact protection — you're basically walking on the insole & a thin air unit. Compared to something like a Jordan 3? It's night & day in terms of cushioning. I'd recommend these for short outings & style, not for all-day comfort. Comparing it to other Jordans: the "Jordan Air 1" is the foundation. Newer models like the AJ3 or AJ11 have more tech & often softer cushioning. But this one? It's pure, simple, & incredibly effective design. It’s lighter than most later models too. For casual wear & style, I still reach for these more often than my other Jordans. They're just that easy. On feet, they look fantastic. The design is so clean and works with "everything" – jeans, shorts, you name it. The red accent pops perfectly. Compared to bulkier Jordans later in the series, this Air 1 profile is just sleek. It's a style win, hands down, for any outfit.
