If your priority is cutting-edge comfort or max cushioning for all-day wear, look elsewhere. This isn't that shoe. Also, for some, the $190+ price for a "basic" leather shoe might feel steep. You're paying for the icon status. So, think about what you "really" want from a sneaker before copping this Jordan Air 1. Now, the potential downside? That flat, firm footbed I mentioned. If you're on your feet all day, it might not be the most comfortable option. Also, the leather can crease — some people hate that. I think it adds character, but it's worth noting. It's not a "performance" shoe by today's standards. Just got the Jordan Air 1 'Stage Haze'. ~$170 for this black/white/blue mix. Super clean box presentation! Sliding them on... the leather is stiff at first, needs a break-in. The fit is TTS for me. I love how the blue hits add personality – not too loud, not too plain. Great summer sneaker. Compared to all-white Air 1s, these have more character. Downside? The white panels will get dirty fast. If you're a perfectionist about cleanliness, maybe think twice. Otherwise, a great pick.
