It's a shoe that looks better with wear, too. That's a huge plus for me. Looking at the Jordan Air 1 High OG 'Bloodline'. Unboxing, the black/red trim on white gives serious 'Chicago' vibes, but with a "twist". The red stitch detailing is a cool touch. Fit is standard—a bit narrow for me initially. The advantage here is the classic look with subtle unique details. Disadvantage? Like most OGs, it's not a comfort shoe. At around $170, it sits in the middle. I'd recommend these Air 1s to someone who wants an OG-style pair without paying resell for an actual 'Chicago'. Unboxing this pair felt special. The classic red/black box, the tissue paper... it's a whole vibe. Holding this "Jordan Air 1", the build quality is good – clean stitching, no glue stains on my pair. The leather on the toe box is a bit stiffer than I'd hoped, but it'll soften. Compared to the recent '85 cut models, this Retro High OG feels more accessible – in both fit and that $180 price point. Solid first impression. Just copped this newer Jordan Air 1 'Mid' version in 'Wolf Grey'. At a lower price point (~$115), expectations are different. The materials are more synthetic, but the shape is still there! On foot, they feel... fine. It's a budget-friendly way to get the iconic look. If you're a purist about materials & OG highs, skip it. But for a beater pair? Not bad at all.
