If you need plush cushioning, look at "Jordan 11"s or "13"s. Also, the leather can crease noticeably (part of the charm for some, a flaw for others). And that high-top can feel restrictive if you're used to lows. It's a style-over-maximum-comfort pick, period. Who should maybe skip? Hardcore comfort seekers, or if you need "tech" in your shoes. Also, if you're on a tight budget – there are more comfortable options at this $180 price point. But you're not really buying comfort; you're buying a piece of culture. The Jordan 1 is about the look and the feel of wearing a legend. Comparing them to my other Jordans... yeah, the Air 1 is stiffer than, say, a Jordan 13 (obviously). But compared to some other AJ1 releases, the leather here is actually pretty nice – no cardboard vibes! It’s a solid entry in the Jordan series. For $180, you're paying for the legacy and the look, not groundbreaking tech.
