The upper uses more stretchy materials too. It's a "modern twist" on the classic. The "huge benefit" is, of course, the comfort – you can actually walk in these all day. The "compromise"? It "doesn't" have the exact same stiff, structured look of the OG. If you've always loved the "Air Jordan 1" style but hated the feel, "this" is your shoe. Traditionalists might find it "too" different. After wearing them for a full day, my final take? The break-in period is real – they get more comfortable, but never "cloud-like." The style versatility is unbeatable. I found myself constantly checking my feet... they just look good. As a foundational sneaker in any collection, the value is there. Would I recommend it? For the right person, 100%. Who should skip it? "Comfort-first sneakerheads". If you need maximum cushion for all-day walks, this isn't it.
