It's a piece of history right out of the box. As a foundational "Jordan" silhouette, it sets the standard. Now, the "cons"—the potential deal-breakers. The comfort is "not" for everyone. If you need plush cushioning, look at "Jordan 11"s or "13"s. Also, the leather can crease noticeably (part of the charm for some, a flaw for others). And that high-top can feel restrictive if you're used to lows. It's a style-over-maximum-comfort pick, period. Sliding these on... immediate thoughts? The fit is true to size for me. The "Jordan Air 1"'s ankle collar offers solid support, & the overall wrap feels secure — not too tight, not loose. It's a structured shoe.
