I'd recommend these Air 1s to someone who wants an OG-style pair without paying resell for an actual 'Chicago'. The major pro of any Jordan Air 1? Versatility. This 'Shadow' grey pair goes with jeans, joggers, shorts... you name it. It’s a wardrobe staple. The build is generally durable, and creasing is just part of the character. It’s a shoe you can beat up a little and it still looks cool—a true workhorse sneaker. Finally, the 'Heritage' colorway Jordan Air 1. Unboxing thoughts? The Chicago-inspired colors are fire, but the materials are just... fine. For $170, I wanted better leather. On feet, it's the same great Air 1 shape and fit we all know. The color pops on camera, no doubt. Advantage? It brings a classic color mix to a general release. Disadvantage? The quality doesn't match the price tag, in my opinion. Compared to a true 'Chicago' release, this is a compromise. I'd say buy these if you love the colors and can't get an OG. If you're picky about materials, wait for a better version.
