The grip is decent on dry surfaces. Is it worth the price? For this colorway and quality, yes – if you love the design. But at retail or slightly above; I wouldn't pay a massive resell premium for the basic tech inside. On foot now, and the fit is true to size for me. The break-in period is real with these, especially around the heel and ankle collar - it can be stiff at first. The cushioning? It's not plush like some modern sneakers, but that's the classic Air 1 feel. You get that solid, grounded sensation, which I actually prefer for all-day wear. Now, the not-so-great part? That midsole "will" crease. It's part of the charm for some, a deal-breaker for others. The leather isn't super plush, so creasing happens fast. If you're a perfectionist who hates seeing wear on your kicks? A Jordan Air 1 might stress you out. It's a shoe meant to be worn and lived in.
