The fit is true to size, good width. The grip is decent on dry surfaces. Is it worth the price? For this colorway and quality, yes – if you love the design. But at retail or slightly above; I wouldn't pay a massive resell premium for the basic tech inside. Comparing it to a modern Jordan like the 37? Totally different world. The Air 1 is flat, simple, grounded. It's not for serious ball anymore. But for daily wear? Its lower profile and classic lines are still unbeatable for pure style. It’s a different tool for a different job. Now, the not-so-great part? That midsole "will" crease. It's part of the charm for some, a deal-breaker for others. The leather isn't super plush, so creasing happens fast. If you're a perfectionist who hates seeing wear on your kicks? A Jordan Air 1 might stress you out. It's a shoe meant to be worn and lived in. Comparing it to other Jordans? Big difference. My Jordan 3s or 4s are way more comfortable. The "jordan air 1" is the foundation, the blueprint.
