Newer models like the AJ3 or AJ11 have more tech & often softer cushioning. But this one? It's pure, simple, & incredibly effective design. It’s lighter than most later models too. For casual wear & style, I still reach for these more often than my other Jordans. They're just that easy. Walking around in these—you feel the support. The flat base and high-top design make them feel solid, not clumsy. Compared to a Jordan 11 or 13, they're definitely less "technical" but way more versatile for daily wear. The break-in period is real, though—expect some stiffness at first in this Jordan Air 1. After wearing these Jordan 1s for a bit, the leather does break in nicely. The fit is true to size, good width. The grip is decent on dry surfaces. Is it worth the price? For this colorway and quality, yes – if you love the design. But at retail or slightly above; I wouldn't pay a massive resell premium for the basic tech inside. Just unboxed the Jordan Air 1 Low 'OG Neutral Grey'. This is a sleeper hit. The materials — that buttery soft grey suede — are fantastic. On foot, the low-cut feels super versatile and easy to wear. It's less restrictive than the high-top Jordan Air 1s. Honestly, if you find the highs too "much," try a low. This is a perfect summer shoe and a clean, underrated colorway in my opinion.
