The comfort is "not" for everyone. If you need plush cushioning, look at "Jordan 11"s or "13"s. Also, the leather can crease noticeably (part of the charm for some, a flaw for others). That classic, flat feel is part of the Jordan Air 1 charm, honestly. Just don't expect plushness. Final verdict on the Jordan Air 1 series? It's a legend for a reason. If you value iconic style, history, & a shoe that goes with everything, it's a must-have. At ~$180, it's an investment in your rotation. However, if you prioritize modern comfort, tech, or have serious foot issues, you might be disappointed. For me? It's a permanent fixture in the collection. Who should probably skip it? Hardcore performance basketball players (obviously) or folks who only buy sneakers based on advanced cushioning tech. Also, if you're super sensitive to a stiff break-in period, this might frustrate you. There are more comfortable "lifestyle" shoes out there for the same price, for sure.
