The white, black, and Chicago Red just work with everything — jeans, shorts, you name it. The design is so clean and versatile. Compared to some bulkier modern Jordans, the air 1 profile is sleek. It's a shoe that looks better with wear, too. That's a huge plus for me. Check out this "University Blue" "Jordan Air 1"! "Straight out" of the box, the colors pop "so" well. It's not a comfortable sneaker by today's standards. For ~$170 USD, you're buying a piece of culture. Perfect for your collection. Not ideal if you want a "walk-all-day" shoe. After wearing these Jordan 1s for a bit, the leather does break in nicely. The fit is true to size, good width. The grip is decent on dry surfaces. Is it worth the price? For this colorway and quality, yes – if you love the design. But at retail or slightly above; I wouldn't pay a massive resell premium for the basic tech inside.
