For $180, you're paying for the legacy and the look, not groundbreaking tech. Walking around in these—you feel the support. The flat base and high-top design make them feel solid, not clumsy. Compared to a Jordan 11 or 13, they're definitely less "technical" but way more versatile for daily wear. The break-in period is real, though—expect some stiffness at first in this Jordan Air 1. Now, the "cons"—the potential deal-breakers. The comfort is "not" for everyone. If you need plush cushioning, look at "Jordan 11"s or "13"s. Also, the leather can crease noticeably (part of the charm for some, a flaw for others). And that high-top can feel restrictive if you're used to lows. It's a style-over-maximum-comfort pick, period.
