Disadvantage? The quality doesn't match the price tag, in my opinion. Compared to a true 'Chicago' release, this is a compromise. I'd say buy these if you love the colors and can't get an OG. If you're picky about materials, wait for a better version. Not everyone will vibe with it, though. If your priority is cutting-edge comfort or max cushioning for all-day wear, look elsewhere. This isn't that shoe. Also, for some, the $190+ price for a "basic" leather shoe might feel steep. You're paying for the icon status. So, think about what you "really" want from a sneaker before copping this Jordan Air 1. Comparing these to, say, a Jordan 4 or 5? It's night and day. The Jordan Air 1 is much lighter and lower to the ground. It's less about tech and more about that timeless profile. If you want max cushioning, look elsewhere. But if you want "the" silhouette that defines sneaker culture? This is it. Simple as that.
