First impression? Super clean & versatile colorway for about $170. Sliding them on... you get that classic, slightly stiff jordan air 1 feel – it's not plush, but it's "solid". The ankle collar gives great support. The grey suede is "chef's kiss" but requires care. Love 'em for casual fits. If you need crazy comfort or hate suede maintenance, look elsewhere. A great entry into the Jordan series for sure. On foot, this 'University Blue' pair really pops. The Jordan Air 1’s high-top profile just looks so good from every angle, especially on camera. The colorblocking is simple but effective. However, the flat midsole can feel a bit unforgiving if you’re walking on concrete for hours. It's a trade-off for that timeless, iconic aesthetic. Now, the potential downside? That flat, firm footbed I mentioned. If you're on your feet all day, it might not be the most comfortable option. Also, the leather can crease — some people hate that. I think it adds character, but it's worth noting. It's not a "performance" shoe by today's standards.
