The main drawback is the comfort tech (or lack thereof) by today's standards. Sliding these on for the first time... okay, let's be real. The Jordan Air 1 is NOT a comfort shoe. If you're coming from React foam or anything modern, you'll find the footbed pretty firm – almost stiff. The ankle collar, though? It provides great support and that classic, snug wrap. It's more about style & statement than all-day cloud-like comfort, for sure. Putting these 'University Blue' Jordan 1s on camera... wow, they photograph beautifully! The suede accents add great texture. In hand, the build quality is excellent. A clear pro is the shoe's cultural impact & sheer style points. The con? Everyone has them. If you want something unique, this might not be it. But for a classic blue & white sneaker, it's a home run. On foot now with these Jordan Air 1s. First thing you notice?
