Jordan air 1 : Comparing them to my other Jordans [rclyded4]

.. yeah, the Air 1 is stiffer than, say, a Jordan 13 (obviously). But compared to some other AJ1 releases, the leather here is actually pretty nice – no cardboard vibes! The ankle padding is minimal, giving that vintage feel. Compared to newer J's, these are flat and firm. Pro: you're wearing a piece of sneaker history. Con: the outsole traction on wet surfaces can be "slippery". Worth the $180? For style and culture, yes. For technical performance or comfort, no. It's a clear trade-off. Check out this "University Blue" "Jordan Air 1"! "Straight out" of the box, the colors pop "so" well. This is one of those pairs that just looks "better" in person, you know?
