Opening the box, that pastel green is so clean for spring. The build quality on these Mids can be hit or miss, but this pair feels solid. Slipping them on, they fit TTS with a good heel lock. Versus a High, it's less restrictive. Pro: great colorway, easier to wear than Highs. Con: some sneakerheads still sleep on the Mid silhouette. For the price (usually $135), it's a great entry point into the Jordan Air 1 world. Not for High-top purists, though. The major "pro" of any "Jordan Air 1"? Timelessness. You can wear a pair from 5 years ago and it still looks current. The "con"? They can crease... a lot. Some love that "lived-in" look, some hate it. Using force fields helps, but it changes the fit. It's part of the deal with this model. Just something to know before you cop! Bottom line from my personal wear test: I'm keeping these in heavy rotation. They're easy, they're classic, and they make any simple outfit look considered. The Jordan Air 1 isn't trying to be something it's not. For $180 USD in the Jordan series, you know exactly what you're getting – and sometimes, that's exactly what you need. Check out this "University Blue" "Jordan Air 1"! "Straight out" of the box, the colors pop "so" well. This is one of those pairs that just looks "better" in person, you know? On feet, the fit is perfect for me – a true sneakerhead staple. The "advantage" of the "Air Jordan 1" is its timeless design; it's a piece of history. However, the "arch support" is basically non-existent, which might bother some. If you're new to Jordans, this is a "fantastic" first pair. If you have "multiple" 1s already, it's just another (awesome) color. At "$170", it's a solid pickup.
