It's a shoe that looks better with wear, too. That's a huge plus for me. Just unboxed the Jordan Air 1 Low 'OG Neutral Grey'. This is a sleeper hit. The materials — that buttery soft grey suede — are fantastic. On foot, the low-cut feels super versatile and easy to wear. It's less restrictive than the high-top Jordan Air 1s. Honestly, if you find the highs too "much," try a low. This is a perfect summer shoe and a clean, underrated colorway in my opinion. Here's a "Jordan 1" you don't see every day: the "Zoom Air CMFT" version. The "first" thing you feel is the "insole" – it's "way" more cushioned than a standard AJ1! The upper uses more stretchy materials too. It's a "modern twist" on the classic. The "huge benefit" is, of course, the comfort – you can actually walk in these all day. The "compromise"? It "doesn't" have the exact same stiff, structured look of the OG. If you've always loved the "Air Jordan 1" style but hated the feel, "this" is your shoe. Traditionalists might find it "too" different. Who should "avoid" it? Performance basketball players—this is not a modern hoop shoe. People with wide feet might find the fit snug. If all-day, cloud-like comfort is your #1 priority, there are better (but often less cool) options. The "Air Jordan 1" demands a slight comfort sacrifice for style. That's the trade-off.
