This is one of those pairs that just looks "better" in person, you know? On feet, the fit is perfect for me – a true sneakerhead staple. If you're new to Jordans, this is a "fantastic" first pair. If you have "multiple" 1s already, it's just another (awesome) color. At "$170", it's a solid pickup. Comparing it to a modern Jordan like the 37? Totally different world. The Air 1 is flat, simple, grounded. It's not for serious ball anymore. But for daily wear? Its lower profile and classic lines are still unbeatable for pure style. It’s a different tool for a different job. On feet now. Honestly, the comfort is... "fine". It's not a modern cushioning setup, so don't expect bounce. The ankle collar gives good support, and the fit is true to size for me. The "jordan air 1" is about style first, feel second. It’s a bit stiff initially - they definitely need a break-in period. Just being real with you all. Potential con? The "tech is dated". If you're used to React or Zoom, the "jordan air 1" will feel flat. The leather can also crease pretty noticeably - some hate that, I think it adds character. Also, breathability isn't great.
