This is a 1985 design— it’s not built for today's game or for all-day walking comfort. If your priority is a pillowy, energy-returning feel straight out of the box, you might be disappointed. There are simply better modern options for that specific need. Just unboxed the Jordan Air 1 Low 'OG Neutral Grey'. This is a sleeper hit. The materials — that buttery soft grey suede — are fantastic. On foot, the low-cut feels super versatile and easy to wear. It's less restrictive than the high-top Jordan Air 1s. Honestly, if you find the highs too "much," try a low. This is a perfect summer shoe and a clean, underrated colorway in my opinion.
