.. the comfort is... okay. It’s a firm ride, folks – don't expect plush cushioning. The ankle collar gives good support, and the overall fit is true to size for me. The break-in period is real, though. After a few wears, they mold to your foot much better. It's that structured, supportive feel the 1s are known for. After wearing these Jordan 1s for a bit, the leather does break in nicely. The fit is true to size, good width. The grip is decent on dry surfaces. Is it worth the price? For this colorway and quality, yes – if you love the design. But at retail or slightly above; I wouldn't pay a massive resell premium for the basic tech inside. Bottom line from my review: the "jordan air 1" is a legend for a reason. It looks fantastic on-foot, pairs with everything, and represents a huge moment for the Jordan brand. Just go in knowing the feel is classic, not cloud-like. Would I recommend it? Yes - as a style cornerstone. But it's not trying to be something it's not, and I respect that. However, the "arch support" is basically non-existent, which might bother some. If you're new to Jordans, this is a "fantastic" first pair. If you have "multiple" 1s already, it's just another (awesome) color. At "$170", it's a solid pickup.
