Compared to a bulkier Jordan 4, these are way more sleek for everyday wear. Major pro: goes with "everything". Con? That stiff out-of-box feel. Great starter sneaker, but hardcore comfort seekers might wanna skip. Who should probably skip it? Hardcore performance basketball players (obviously) or folks who only buy sneakers based on advanced cushioning tech. Also, if you're super sensitive to a stiff break-in period, this might frustrate you. There are more comfortable "lifestyle" shoes out there for the same price, for sure. On feet, the Jordan Air 1 just works. The high-top silhouette gives you that classic look – it's timeless, man. They photograph incredibly well; the shape is perfect. Compared to some of the newer, bulkier Jordans, the 1 has a sleekness to it. Major pro? Versatility. You can dress 'em up or down so easily. Walking around in these—you feel the support. The flat base and high-top design make them feel solid, not clumsy. Compared to a Jordan 11 or 13, they're definitely less "technical" but way more versatile for daily wear. The break-in period is real, though—expect some stiffness at first in this Jordan Air 1.
