If you want plush, look elsewhere. But for that timeless look? It delivers, every time. Putting these 'University Blue' Jordan 1s on camera... wow, they photograph beautifully! The suede accents add great texture. In hand, the build quality is excellent. A clear pro is the shoe's cultural impact & sheer style points. The con? Everyone has them. If you want something unique, this might not be it. But for a classic blue & white sneaker, it's a home run. Comparing it to my other Jordans... The Air 1 feels more substantial than an Air Force 1 (in my opinion) but less bulky than a Jordan 4. It’s that perfect middle ground. The price? Consistent with the legacy. You're buying into the Jordan series origin story every time you lace up a Jordan Air 1. After wearing these Jordan 1s for a bit, the leather does break in nicely. The fit is true to size, good width. The grip is decent on dry surfaces. Is it worth the price? For this colorway and quality, yes – if you love the design. But at retail or slightly above; I wouldn't pay a massive resell premium for the basic tech inside.
