A true wardrobe staple, in my opinion. Unboxing this pair felt special. The classic red/black box, the tissue paper... it's a whole vibe. Holding this "Jordan Air 1", the build quality is good – clean stitching, no glue stains on my pair. The leather on the toe box is a bit stiffer than I'd hoped, but it'll soften. Compared to the recent '85 cut models, this Retro High OG feels more accessible – in both fit and that $180 price point. Solid first impression. Just unboxed the Jordan Air 1 Low 'OG Neutral Grey'. This is a sleeper hit. The materials — that buttery soft grey suede — are fantastic. On foot, the low-cut feels super versatile and easy to wear. It's less restrictive than the high-top Jordan Air 1s. Honestly, if you find the highs too "much," try a low. This is a perfect summer shoe and a clean, underrated colorway in my opinion. Who should skip it? "Comfort-first sneakerheads". If you need maximum cushion for all-day walks, this isn't it. Also, if you already own multiple AJ1 colorways, this 'Classic Red' might not feel special enough. It's an essential, but not an exciting new silhouette. Know what you're buying into with this Jordan series entry.
