Despite the break-in, the "Jordan Air Force 1" earns its legendary status through pure versatility and style. It's not the most exciting shoe in my Jordan collection, but it might be the most worn. I love it for that. Just know what you're buying: an icon of culture, not a pinnacle of foot-tech. And that's totally okay! On feet now, and the fit is true to size – a bit roomy in the toe box which I actually prefer. The cushioning? It's firm, classic Air Force 1 style. Don't expect modern bounce, it's more about stability. The ankle collar provides decent support. They "do" have some weight to them – not the lightest sneaker, for sure. But that's part of the AF1 feel, you know? Now, the not-so-great part? The break-in period can be real. The leather is stiff initially, and that classic sole isn't the most flexible.
