I recommend it to "anyone" looking for a cornerstone sneaker. I do NOT recommend it if you prioritize ultra-lightweight, flexible shoes. For me? It's always a yes. After wearing them for a full day, my final take? They're a workhorse. The durability seems on point—scuffs on the white leather are almost a badge of honor. The "biggest pro" is the timeless look. The "con"? They can feel a bit heavy after many hours. So, if you're on your feet 12+ hours constantly, maybe consider a more modern, ergonomic design. On-foot feel update: After a full day, the cushioning is… adequate. The air unit in the heel is noticeable, but the forefoot is firm. They're not uncomfortable, just "substantial". You feel the weight (which isn't crazy, but it's there). The leather started to crease naturally – which I actually like on an AF1. It adds character. Just know, it's part of the journey with this model. Who might want to skip it? If you prioritize ultimate, cloud-like comfort above all else – maybe look at something with more modern foam. Also, if you need a super lightweight shoe for all-day city exploring, the heft might bother you. It's a style and statement piece first, a comfort-tech shoe second (after break-in, though, it's fine!).
