Comparing it to other "Jordans"—like a J1 or a J4—this "Air Force 1" is a different beast. It's less about performance heritage and more about cultural impact. The fit is roomier in the toe box than a J1. For $165, you're buying into a legend. Great for daily beats. Not great if you need technical features or super snug lockdown for actual sports. On feet now, and the fit is true to size – a bit roomy in the toe box which I actually prefer. The cushioning? It's firm, classic Air Force 1 style. Don't expect modern bounce, it's more about stability. The ankle collar provides decent support. They "do" have some weight to them – not the lightest sneaker, for sure. But that's part of the AF1 feel, you know? On-foot feel update: After a full day, the cushioning is… adequate. The air unit in the heel is noticeable, but the forefoot is firm. They're not uncomfortable, just "substantial". You feel the weight (which isn't crazy, but it's there). The leather started to crease naturally – which I actually like on an AF1. It adds character.
