Comparing it to, say, a Jordan 1 – this is a different beast. The "jordan air force 1" is bulkier and offers more coverage around the ankle. The toe box is roomier. It's less of a basketball shoe in feel nowadays and more of a lifestyle staple. If you want that classic '80s hoop look, this is it. The Air unit is there, but don't expect Zoom Air responsiveness. Who should "avoid" these? If you prioritize lightweight comfort above all, look elsewhere. Runners or people who are on their feet all day might find these too heavy and rigid. Also, if you have very wide feet, the standard fit might feel tight before breaking in. It's a classic, but not for every single foot or lifestyle.
