For "$135 USD", you're paying for that iconic look. On foot, the ankle padding is nice & thick, giving good support. It’s a different vibe from a Jordan 1 High – chunkier, more street-level. A straight-up classic. Sliding these on... immediate thoughts? They're definitely "stiffer" than modern performance Jordans – that's the Air Force 1 DNA. The ankle collar is padded and feels secure, not restrictive. They have a bit of weight to them, but it's that substantial, classic feel. If you're used to ultra-light runners, this'll be different. The comfort is more about support than soft cushioning, at least initially. On foot for a few hours now. The break-in is real – they start a bit stiff but are molding to my foot. The arch support is decent for me. They feel secure. Walking on pavement, you feel that Air unit in the heel, but it's subtle. Again – not a performance shoe! It's a lifestyle icon, and for that role, the feel is exactly what I expected.
