The main con is the cost and wait time from Nike By You. Compared to a GR (General Release) Jordan, it's a personal statement. Honestly, for the price (around $160+), it’s worth it if you want something nobody else has. Not recommended if you just need a quick, affordable sneaker. It’s a project for true enthusiasts. Who should maybe skip it? If you're on your feet all day and prioritize cushioning above all else, look elsewhere. Also, if you prefer lightweight, flexible shoes, the jordan air force 1 will feel too heavy and rigid. It's all about your needs. It's a classic, but not necessarily for every single foot or situation. On feet now, and the fit is true to size – a bit roomy in the toe box which I actually prefer. The cushioning? It's firm, classic Air Force 1 style. Don't expect modern bounce, it's more about stability. The ankle collar provides decent support. They "do" have some weight to them – not the lightest sneaker, for sure. But that's part of the AF1 feel, you know? Immediate thought upon unboxing: the craftsmanship here is noticeable. Stitching, materials – it's a step up. Wearing them, the toe box is roomy (which I like). The outsole grip is solid for casual use. Compared to other Jordans, it's less performance-driven, more fashion-forward. Pro? Iconic status and build quality. Con? They can feel "stiff" initially. If you have patience for break-in, you'll love them. If not, maybe try a different model. For $150? Fair value for the legacy.
