The main con is the cost and wait time from Nike By You. Compared to a GR (General Release) Jordan, it's a personal statement. Honestly, for the price (around $160+), it’s worth it if you want something nobody else has. Not recommended if you just need a quick, affordable sneaker. It’s a project for true enthusiasts. Who might want to skip it? If you prioritize ultimate, cloud-like comfort above all else – maybe look at something with more modern foam. Also, if you need a super lightweight shoe for all-day city exploring, the heft might bother you. It's a style and statement piece first, a comfort-tech shoe second (after break-in, though, it's fine!). Now, the not-so-great part? The break-in period can be real. The leather is stiff initially, and that classic sole isn't the most flexible. If you're used to ultra-light, bouncy shoes—these might feel like bricks. It's a common "flaw" with the Air Force 1 design, but some people actually love that sturdy feel.
