It’s a ~$160 investment in a timeless look. Don't buy it for the "feel" — buy it for the effortless style it brings to jeans, shorts, even cargos. A true classic, through and through. On-foot feel update: After a full day, the cushioning is… adequate. The air unit in the heel is noticeable, but the forefoot is firm. They're not uncomfortable, just "substantial". You feel the weight (which isn't crazy, but it's there). The leather started to crease naturally – which I actually like on an AF1. It adds character. Just know, it's part of the journey with this model. Now, a real talk con: the break-in. The collar and the forefoot can feel a bit stiff at first. It might take a few wears to get that perfect, comfortable mold to your foot. If you want a shoe that’s cushion-soft right away, this might not be it. Patience is key here. On feet now, and the fit is true to size – a bit roomy in the toe box which I actually prefer. The cushioning? It's firm, classic Air Force 1 style. Don't expect modern bounce, it's more about stability. The ankle collar provides decent support. They "do" have some weight to them – not the lightest sneaker, for sure. But that's part of the AF1 feel, you know?
