.. immediate thoughts? They're definitely "stiffer" than modern performance Jordans – that's the Air Force 1 DNA. The ankle collar is padded and feels secure, not restrictive. They have a bit of weight to them, but it's that substantial, classic feel. If you're used to ultra-light runners, this'll be different. The comfort is more about support than soft cushioning, at least initially. The design here is pure classic, but the Jordan branding gives it a different vibe. On camera, that white leather pops and the clean look works with "literally" everything - jeans, shorts, you name it. Comparing it to other Jordans, like a J1, this is much heavier and blockier. A major "pro" is its versatility. A "con"? It can feel a bit clunky if you're used to lighter performance models. On-foot feel update: After a full day, the cushioning is… adequate. The air unit in the heel is noticeable, but the forefoot is firm. They're not uncomfortable, just "substantial". You feel the weight (which isn't crazy, but it's there). The leather started to crease naturally – which I actually like on an AF1. It adds character. Just know, it's part of the journey with this model. Just copped this new colorway. First thoughts? The materials feel standard for a $150 Jordan Air Force 1 – nothing crazy, but the construction is on point. The silhouette is, of course, iconic.
