Compared to a standard pair, this is for showing off. Pro: incredibly unique look. Con: the clear parts might yellow over time, and it's less versatile. I'd recommend it to collectors & AF1 fans wanting something different. Not an everyday shoe for most. So, who is this for? If you're new to sneakers & want a reliable, iconic first Jordan... grab it. If you need a go-to, beater-friendly shoe that always looks good... it's perfect. Not for who? Runners, or anyone seeking a "cloud-like" modern sneaker experience. For $130, you're paying for the legend, not the tech. Who might wanna pass? If you're seeking cutting-edge tech, cushioning, or a super-light feel, look elsewhere. This isn't a performance basketball shoe anymore. Also, if you prefer low-tops, maybe check out the AF1 Low version. The $150 is for the iconic look & feel, not innovation. On-foot feel update: After a full day, the cushioning is… adequate. The air unit in the heel is noticeable, but the forefoot is firm. They're not uncomfortable, just "substantial". You feel the weight (which isn't crazy, but it's there). The leather started to crease naturally – which I actually like on an AF1. It adds character. Just know, it's part of the journey with this model.
