The "not-so-great part"? The lack of breathability. Your feet will get warm. So, perfect for cooler days or shorter outings, in my opinion. On feet, the design "really" shines. Compared to, say, a Jordan 1, the Jordan Air Force 1 is bulkier, more of a statement. It's less about basketball heritage and more about streetwear style, in my opinion.
